I have a choice about today the question is do you?

I woke up early today, excited over all I get to do before the clock strikes midnight. I have responsibilities to fulfill today and I am important. My job is to choose what kind of day I am going to have.

Lupita Nyong'o: Black is Beautiful

Once upon a time, the entire world simultaneously fell in love with a 31-year-old actress named Lupita Nyong’o. But of course, that is not where the story ends–not when you take into account her talent, poise, and propensity for consistently dressing like a goddess.

Lupita Nyong’o delivered a powerful speech on the power of black beauty at a luncheon for Black Women In Hollywood. In the speech, Nyong’o took the opportunity to respond to a small part of a letter a fan wrote her about the beauty of being dark black:

“Dear Lupita, I think you’re really lucky to be this Black but yet this successful in Hollywood overnight. I was just about to buy Dencia’s Whitenicious cream to lighten my skin when you appeared on the world map and saved me."

The awesome funeral

One day all the employees of a very unusual company reached their office and all saw a big sign on the main door which said this . .

'Yesterday, the person who has been hindering your growth in this company passed away. We invite you to join the funeral in the room that has been prepared in the gym.'

In the beginning, they all got sad for the death of one of their colleagues, but after a while they started getting curious to know who was that person who hindered the growth of their colleagues and the company itself?

Positive attitude on Life

Positive attitude on Life

The longer I live, the more I realise the impact of attitude on life.
It is more important than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than whatever anyone might say or do.
It is more important than appearances, giftedness or skill.

Spotlight of the month

Mother Teresa of Calcutta (1910-1997)

Mother Teresa was always her own person, startlingly independent, obedient, yet challenging some preconceived notions and expectations. Her own life story includes many illustrations of her willingness to listen to and follow her own conscience, even when it seemed to contradict what was expected.
Mother Teresa lived a selfless life in service of others, this luminous messenger of God’s love was born on 26 August 1910 in Skopje, a city situated at the crossroads of Balkan  The youngest of the children born to Nikola and Drane Bojaxhiu, she was baptised Gonxha Agnes.

Though so much of her young life was centered in the Church, Mother Teresa later revealed that until she reached 18, she had never thought of being a nun.

Count your blessings

Learn to count your blessings and not your burdens. One of the biggest problems of the western world is an ungrateful spirit, there are many little blessings that make life worthwhile. Need something to be grateful for  today? Life itself is a blessing  if you are reading this, then you woke up this morning, your breathing and you're alive. Its a blessing that musn't be taken for granted. develop a gratitude attitude come to think of it. How often do we say thank you for the simplest of gestures, done to us by friends, family or even strangers, It  takes nothing from us to say "Thank you" happiness is born from gratitude an  gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.

If only we can turn back the hands of TIME

A young lady was waiting for her flight in the boarding room of
a big airport...

As she would need to wait many hours, she decided to buy a book to spend her time and also bought a packet of cookies, then sat down in an armchair, in the VIP room of the airport, to rest and read in peace.

Why not be happy

Someone has said that happiness is the rarest things in the world. I think it’s not true, we can be happy whenever and wherever we are, no matter the situation we find ourselves in, trust me someone somewhere has gone through worst. Worrying never solves anything, We all need to find out what makes us happy, That means getting away from our computer trying to search for inspirational/motivational  quotes or speech to cheer us up, (unless you are reading my blog.. then by all means, carry on) the best motivation you can ever receive is the one you give yourself.
